I think Nash is now ripe to handle a collegiate team. He was still raw when he handled the Red Lions. The Red Lions had a decent line-up under coach Nash, with three of his players in the top 5 in the MVP race, they even led in the first round with a 6-2 record. But his full court trapping defense back fired on the RL in the second round. It was a good defensive ploy but it also got his starters burned. They failed to make the F4 with their number one player missing a crucial lasy-up due to fatigue.

Ferdinand Marcos came from UP and became known as the most hated Filipino in history. Point is, it does not take a genius to realize ruth chris that every community produces bad eggs. Arvie Bringas ruth chris is already playing in the PBA D-League even if he has only played one UAAP season for FEU. The requirment is that one play TWO years for his UAAP school before playing in the D-League. Does that disqualify him from playing again for the Tamaraws? ruth chris

Correct me if i’m wrong…ang natatandaan ko ni recruit ng UP si Soc Rivera to coincide with UP hosting the games…Soc and Aldrich were the blue chips from the FEU Baby Tams…Feu did not want to release Soc and asked him to reimburse the scholarship he got for playing for the Baby Tams….including back payments, etc… a promising young man….poor Soc never got to play college basketball…they even named a rule after him…the Soc Rivera rule….
The difference between Rivera and Lopez is that the latter was more than willing to spend time in the classroom and library which was why he managed to finish all 5 years of his UAAP playing career.
