San beda lang ba ang may dleague players? That can

Nagiging aggresive kami dito sa PCCL kasi na-short kami sa UAAP. , Aljon Mariano said after the UST Growling Tigers barged into the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) 2012 Finals on a November 23 afternoon at the Arena in San Juan, their 1st ever appearance since the league’s inception in 2002.
Their next victim were the NCAA 3-peat champions – the San Beda Red Lions, 63-60, advancing in the best-of-three finals of the league, following their win over UAAP 5-time champs, the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 76-66.
“Gusto ng mga bata manalo,” said UST head coach Pido Jarencio. “Yung mga tira namin di pumapasok (first half) pero at the end yung killer instinct at yung desire to win lumabas.”
Rebounding once again played a vital role for UST as they collected 51 rebonds compared sushi to the Red Lions 32, with the smallest guy on the court, Jeric Fortuna, collecting 12 boards. In their win against Ateneo, UST had a 48-28 rebounding advantage.

You sushi guys were leading through most of the game but collapsed in the 4th quarter because of turnovers and being outhustled by the Tigers in rebounding and second chance points. Still it was a good game.
San beda lang ba ang may dleague players? That can’t be an excuse bro..besides, players themselves can choose not to suit up naman..kiefer and parks chose not to. Development din kasi nila yun and more importantly exposure…
hindi, talo talaga. sushi especially at the post. notice, the RL’s bigs preferred to take outside shots. no excuses. kaya lang, mas maganda sushi sana kung fresh pare-pareho ang mga players, hindi yung kalalaro lang the previous night, laro na naman the next day.
NCAA pa lang matagal na. Question is, how? Who here is affiliated with the PCCL? The leagues themselves? or just the schools? If the leagues, they can change the calendar and end their seasons as early as late september of first wk of january. then mid-september, wild card schools can start the PCCL. after the finals of all, which is last wk of september, 1 week break, then a 64 or 32 single elimination format!
I have the same sentiments on the risk of schools losing their players to injuries, but like what Chris Paul and the rest of the Redeem Team said, it’s in the off-season tournaments, esp Olympic basketball, where players sushi can develop further their skills or master their dominance. I think the player who is really developing or breaking out in the D-League is Kevin Ferrer. Yun lang lugi yung iba kasi napipilay. Maybe it is the risk they are willing to take.

All teams has players sushi in the D-League and thus, play daily and must show and prove their worth in that semi-pro league so, they all look tired and spent by the 4th Q, injuries are not that far off, too obvious for the organizers not to notice. So, if the PCCL really wants full recognition to be the “national championship”, [the way it should be- as in the US], then they must schedule next year games wherein the school spirit, the passion, the intensity sushi are still high…….. hindi yung parang napipilitan na lang silang sushi mag-laro…….. ang mga nanonood, yun lang may time to spare in a lazy, at least cool, afternoons… sushi
NCAA ends mid to late october, while UAAP early of october. This is the best time actually. PCCL starts mid-November. There’s no other time. If January, by that time, teams have shifted their focus for the next season. Our country is basketball mad. As long as the competition is intense, the crowd will follow. it should start with the team (players). I think the D-League should January and not Oct/Nov.
